My friend Darby and I put together a video about the Lakeland Farmers Market. She did all the difficult work- I just did the speaking. This is the first time I've done this, so feedback and constructive criticism are welcome. Don't be hateful. :o)

hey im impressed you got through "hydroponic" without hesitation! Pretty cool video.
Lorrie, I thought that was great. I never even knew that existed and I lived there for 3+ years. Great work!
I accidentally left a message for your friend Darby (!) talking about her entering an art contest...somehow I got your 2 cites confused when you linked your video with hers! If she wonders about it tell her I meant it for you! It was about how many interests you seem to have and how you are really DOING something about them instead of sitting around watching time go by, like it seems I've been doing a lot of lately...mostly due to some physical issues I'm trying to get a handle on. I swear, when I figure out what the pain problems are, I WILL be back outside cycling (on my brand new 24 speed) and fast walking and gardening and all the things I've not done for some time now. I'm glad you dropped me a comment about the birds! And, by the way, I wanted to mention that the butterfly garden you mentioned isn't all that hard to do...I have planted buddelia bushes and other flowering, sunloving plants and I get quite a variety of butterflies, as well as birds. I'll keep cdhecking back to your really interesting life. Perhaps it will jumpstart mine!
Hey Lorrie - Glad Jan figured out what she did b/c i could not figure out when i left her a comment lol. but she does have cool sites. it was fun making and editing the video with you. let's try this again soon. :)
Delkie,
You have real potential. You have an excellent voice. A few of the ands could have been edited out though but for a first time I thought it was great.

"Who's the blond stranger?"
Loved the video. I could see you doing travelogues.
PR for CofC, here you come!
Still want to know where my cheese rolls are.
Worth just what it cost ya,
Hey, hey, hey! Looks great! We hope to see you at MaryJeanne's Greens and Mike's Morganberries each and every week! Good job!
Hi Lorrie! I agree with much of what has been said- you have a great speaking voice and really played up the Farmer's Market in Lakeland. When I first read about that in the first months it started, I went down there and was very disappointed. It looks like it has grown a bit since then, which is very encouraging. One of the biggest reasons I moved to Portland, OR was for the ginormous farmer's market with local organic farming. Check out the pictures I posted on my blog- who knows, maybe Lakeland's will one day draw thousands every Saturday too! I would love to see American's in general get more excited and educated about organic produce.
Hey! Great job! Who knew way back when in Indianapolis that any of us would go on to produce such kinds of work? I sure didn't really believe it.
I'm just mad because we don't have an awesome Farmer's Market here in Corpus Christi...damn it. :-)
